BREAKING REPORT: FBI Director Kash Patel Considering Resigning if Bongino Leaves
Gateway Pundit ^ | Jul. 11, 2025 | by Cristina Laila

FBI Director Kash Patel is reportedly also frustrated with Pam Bondi and considering resigning if Dan Bongino leaves.

Earlier Friday it was reported that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino took a day off from work after a clash with Attorney General Pam Bondi over the handling of the Epstein files.

On Sunday night a new FBI, DOJ memo obtained by Axios concluded Jeffrey Epstein did not have a client list that he used for blackmail.

The FBI earlier determined that Epstein did commit suicide in August 2019.

According to Axios, Bongino was blamed for the oversight of the missing minute.

CNN reported that Bongino has told people he is considering resigning but he has not made up his mind yet.

The Daily Wire reported that Bongino said he won’t stay at the FBI if Pam Bondi stays at the DOJ.

Later Friday The Daily Wire reported that Kash Patel also wants Pam Bondi gone and that he is also considering leaving if Bongino leaves.

There is frustration with other documents that Pam Bondi has not released.

Fox News is reporting that Director Kash Patel and Bondi have every intention to stay and serve.

These stories are from Axios and CNN which are left wing organizations. Buyer beware.

An adult like Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions and Bondi? All Trump’s been allowed to chose are “adults” that are (or could be in the case of Bondi) compromised.

Never underestimate our side’s ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

<> Probably because Epstein was an asset for Mossad and the CIA, as has been reported in the past, and the Epstein files are probably classified as "Top Secret" as a result. That's my guess and it makes sense. And if that is the case, then Bondi's actions are understandable, as much as we would wish otherwise. I would think that Patel and Bongio would face the same constraints

I was hoping to see Matt Gaetz in there as interim AG, just to drive his enemies crazy.

Yep. I was afraid they either got to her early. Maybe before she was put in place. Was not Trumps first choice. Another Barr perhaps. At first I was wondering if she was crossing I’s and crossing T’s to take a bunch down but now she has looked like a clown twice with the same thing. Releasing this big list that was shorter than the one already out. Raiding the office and gathering truck loads of evidence. Then the list is on her desk. Then there is no list. Patel and Dan saying they saw video and he killed himself. I don’t care about a list. Cut the fraud and waste. I think that’s what Musk and Trump got into it over. He found it and no indictments. Not even low hanging fruit.

So far, the only source is The Daily Wire.

When her name came up for the nomination there were conservative voices especially 2A advocates sounded the alarm.

They were ignored so now here we are.

That’s precisely why the Senate won’t approve him for that office.

“they serve the purpose of forcing Trump to act, because he is the only one who can resolve this.:

I agree but he made it very clear that he thinks the Epstein affair is a waste of time, which makes it unlikely he’ll do a 180.

Yup—that is why the “distraction” argument is not holding a lot of water.

The administration could have stalled on the Epstein issue for many months, maybe even years.

I can think of lots of excuses they could have given.

There needs to be an immediate implementation of the Bongino Rule: Wait, at least, 72 hours. With creeps like CNN and Axios pushing the stories, doubt everything.

It could easily be that Mr Bongino wanted a three-day weekend to be with his family.

I don’t know the truth, and the Drive-By Media has never cared about any truth.

The President does give her huge praise every time they are in public and he seemingly supports this decision based upon the recent cabinet meeting/Q&A.

I believe it’s because he’s pleased with the recent USSC decisions.

I think the way President Trump changes course is he says “This is minor stuff but some folks on my team think it is important so we will reopen the investigation—no big deal.”
