I see a line of mostly new cars when the state food bank truck rolls into town. I see it as a bunch of people with enough money to buy food just looking for a freebie like food-sampling at Costco. But the food bank doesn’t care. The more they give away, the more they can inflate their budget requests for next year.

I see a line of mostly new cars when the state food bank truck rolls into town. I see it as a bunch of people with enough money to buy food just looking for a freebie like food-sampling at Costco.

Hard to say what their situation is. But if money is tight then perhaps they need to hold on to that 15 year old Toyota Camry.

But there's no shame in buying a new car and then going to a food bank.

Back in the day, they'll get "government cheese".
