Same for new reactor fuel pellets you can hold them in your palm and not suffer any ill effects. U235 and 238 have half lives too long to be of issue. This is also the reason to use U235 in weapons of simple gun design other wise the spontaneous fission will cause a fizzle. It’s the Pu 240 and it’s 6500 year half life that makes reactor Pu not suitable for weapons without third gen implosion design.

Well put. The outcome of this complete destruction of Iran’s nuke program will be regime change. The nation will blame supreme leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei for the loss.
