It’s nice you got to spend some “close” time with your boys even though you had to set your den up as a dormitory.
Our kids know our door has always been open in times of need.
However, we were enjoying being “Empty Nesters” after all those years when youngest moved out.
Oldest son, didn’t want to be here at all but was thankful that he didn’t have to move to a motel till he found his own place which he did almost immediately.
It is nice to have grown kids or grandkids for a few days but I prefer it when they are just visiting.😁
Oldest daughter and granddaughter will be stopping by to send the night next Wednesday on their way from UT to the valley.
Now that will be too short of a visit, but you take what you can get.

You got that right. Actually there were two main heroes, with a lot of other men who joined in to take the guy down. The two were both former marines. One of them had grabbed a shopping cart and rammed into the stabber from behind, and used the cart to keep him away from stabbing distance. The other had a gun and convinced the stabber to go down to the ground in the parking lot. He had to have a lot of self-control NOT to shoot the perp. Perp was lucky. The guy with the gun happened to be black. Which means it's going to be hard for the media to spin this incident. Not a story to push gun control.
