A pediatrician has been fired over a vile post suggesting that the more than 80 killed in the horrific Texas floods — including dozens of kids — were Trump supporters who got “what they voted for.”
Dr. Christina B. Propst drew widespread scorn following the disparaging, since-deleted post under her old Facebook username, Chris Tina, according to Mediaite.
“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,” Probst wrote in the now-viral post.

What a week he is having! Or month. Or first five and a half months of his presidency.
The “he” of whom I speak, is, of course, President Donald J. Trump.
Has any president ever had a couple of weeks like the past two for Trump?
Has any president ever had such a torrid and impactful start to his term?
The border is secure, something many thought impossible a relative blink of an eye ago. The stock market — S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average alike — is at an all-time high.
Tariffs have brought in large sums of money to the Treasury … or wherever it goes.
Yet inflation is down. Real wages are up. Illegal aliens are being sent back. Crime is down. Optimism is up, at least among the rational and attentive....

What ‘emergency’ service sends all requests to a computerized app, for a ‘quick’ response???

When I called AAA, I got a recording that texted me a link, which FROZE my cell phone and dropped the call.
Evidently, you can’t use their services unless you have a smart phone.
When I finally got a human this morning, she begged me not to cancel, then she referred me to “Member Services” who also begged me not to cancel, but neither human was able to suggest an alternative for me.
So, as of today, I have canceled the service and expect a full refund.
Then, knowing that my Motorcycle Mechanic was probably SWAMPED, I recalled a local guy who has trailer service as well.
I looked him up on the internet to see if there were any reviews, and found only his OBITUARY.
So I called my regular mechanic. (sigh) He’s SWAMPED and Blue may be in the shop for over a week.
Oh Well.
I only have had ONE cortisone shot, into my toe, over 20 years ago. I can STILL remember the pain. I will never get one of those again.
I can’t tell if the PT is working because it hurts too much...I suppose if I keep it up, things will get better.

I came across American Opposition via the link in your X bio and decided to take a closer look.
According to its own description, American Opposition is a “non-profit, non-connected political action committee created to counter the rise of fascism in the United States.” In reality, it looks more like a barely-functioning vanity project. The FEC filing (Committee ID: C00896720) confirms it’s a newly formed PAC with little traction or visibility.
If your Threads activity is any indicator - where you regularly post that Pete Buttigieg deserves more influence than Harry Sisson or Lindy Li, it’s no surprise the project isn’t gaining ground.
The American Opposition Threads feed mostly showcases photos of the founder (you) attending protests. It’s hard to avoid the conclusion that this PAC serves as a vehicle for you to play full-time activist on someone else’s dime — though apparently, not many dimes are coming in. Despite your background, it seems you didn’t cultivate enough support in the NGO world to land real institutional backing.
Let’s review that background: You launched the online edition of Editora Listín Diario while still in college. Later, you advised the Department of Defense on “strategic communications” during the Iraq and Afghanistan operations. Most notably, you led strategic comms for Protect Democracy during the 2020 election, a group bankrolled in large part by Open Society Foundations. That’s Soros money, plain and simple.
So the image starts to clarify: a military-to-NGO pipeline operative with Soros backing, trying to rebrand as grassroots opposition. But if this PAC is your flagship, the branding isn’t working.
So your way of coping with your own failure is to mock Texans suffering through a devastating natural disaster on an X account called “Mrs. Butters.”

I feel much better about how safe my identity really is. Because that’s not me. I freaked out for a minute because magats are nuts and would probably find where I live and harm myself or my children. The thing that gets me is that being evil is LITERALLY a job for them.

Doc wanted hubby to go to PT but hubby promised to do exercises on his own, he’s not.
The way our family doctor explained what was wrong with his knee, it will not get better without PT.
I’m going to insist he go this time.
The shot helps with the pain but is not the cure.
I’m sure with time, if you keep it up, your knee will get better.
Indeed.
I’m going 2x a week, and, in between, do the exercises at home.
I had 4 months of PT for my shoulders and hips last year, I went in twice a week and did 7 days of 1 hour at home. It was hard to keep it up, but it worked and kept me from having surgery!
I hope it works out for you 🙏
