Alternatively, watch the remake of Top Gun from 3 years ago, with plenty of popcorn. Well-buttered.

It reminds me of that Aliens quote, “in the pipe; 5 by 5”

Yeah Top Gun: Maverick was pretty good, and a similar mission, except for the silly ending. Neither the NORKs or Iranians have any aging US planes fueled up and ready to roll.

Thankfully none of our guys got shot down in Iran. The Ruskies are going to have difficulty selling more radar tech.

Reminds me of a close relative, who used to fly KC-135s out of Castle AFB, told me: “No one kicks ass without tanker gas.”

Cameron did such a damn good job portraying a space version of the Marines.

I don't think IDF pilots left any standing. And the only thing with even a chance of detecting a B2 are UHF/VHF arrays, which Iran did not possess.

The crew on the mission were between 21 and 28 years old.

Contrast with the same ages outside the military who are saying they cannot get anywhere because of something stopping them.... The suits are against them etc.
