Yet she waited until a fraudulent graduation and a meaningless diploma to notice the negligence? At some point even an illiterate would notice a scam.
Practice...
No problem; if she’s of the correct hue, the Ivy League will embrace her and schedule some remedial (read: third grade level) read ‘n write courses en route to her gender studies major.
Make plans to rob and assault their victims
I met a school board member from one of the suburbs of Atlanta, GA. He said that he spent most of his time thwarting all the bad ideas that come from the “activists” that graduate college and run for school board seats: they get the funding from the local Demonrat party. It is commonplace. That is how they win, and there are very few conservative MEN that run for these jobs.
These are the candidates the GOP and churches should be funding.
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Well isn’t that something?
In a completely unrelated matter. Did you know that in the antebellum South, it was a crime to teach a slave to read and write?
Did the teachers pay their dues? If so, the union is good with it.
At least the teachers can pay off their Mercedes cars and Super Crew trucks.
She was labeled a "special ed student" with a "disability." Under federal law, special ed students are "entitled" to "special accommodations."
Her "special accommodation" was an app that translated text to speech and speech to text. She used that app through high school.
Now, she is still using that app in college:
Ortiz, who dreams of becoming a writer, is currently attending the University Connecticut as a full-time student, . . . To complete her college assignments, she is relying on apps that translate text to speech and speech to text, as she did in high school.
So, the answer is to stop letting special ed students use that app as a special accommodation.
But the question is, how did she get into a university with that app? Maybe because admissions tests (like the SAT) are optional?
What do you call a nation where a high school student can graduate with honors—yet cannot read or write?
You call it America in 2025.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.
Here’s two statistics I may have picked up on FR or on one of the conservative sights like RedState or Gateway Pundit:
1. 54% of adults read below the normal 6th grade level
2. 20% of adults read below the normal 3rd grade level
And in the end, they cannot read, they cannot do simple math, and they can’t find North America on a world map.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>..
Most primary and secondary teachers in America today are ignorant beyond belief, and anyone who sends their child to the local public school should be arrested for child abuse!
What do kids do in school all day?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
They play, drink, use drugs, fight, fornicate, destroy property, beat up teachers, IOWs the same behavior they engage in at home and on the streets!

That’s their average IQ
What is the teachers’ union position on this?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The teachers’ unions are run by corrupt felons and the rank-and-file are almost as uneducated as their pupils. And everything they say is for the purpose of denying their own culpability and defending themselves against any and all criticisms of their comprehensively documented failures.
This really shocked me when I first started teaching - kids would ask me what time it was (I taught high school, so not little kids) - with a large, easy to read schoolhouse clock right in front of them in the front of the room.
Found out soon they did not know how to tell time.
It’s worse now b/c everything is digital as far as clocks - at least for the later generations. Very sad.
I can see my grandmother’s cuckoo clock going in the trash b/c there will be no one left to understand it.
