It is not at all about hating black people. It is about staying safe and reducing the odds of being a victim of crime, especially violent crime.
There are lots of white criminals and many are violent repeat criminals, but the numbers among black people are multiple times per capital. If you are going to play the odds, the smart play is to avoid young black men like the plague. Yes, you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater to an extent since many young black men are not violent criminals, but the numbers among them are so vast, you are idiot to risk it.
You call it racism. I call it prudence.

There is no intent to help people stay safe, because these posts have no such effect. Nor is there any need for it, because there are no Freepers wandering around out there not knowing to stay away from criminal ghetto types.
The effect of these posts and the comments is to encourage and cultivate attitude. Not actions—attitude. The attitude it encourages is low IQ racism.

But let’s take a look at another variable in these kinds of threads, one more significant than skin color but less emphasized—emotion.
The horror in violent crime is what induces emotional response and what gets attention. But there has never been a black on white crime more horrific than the most horrific white on white crime.

I think most people kind of think of them interchangeably and use skin color as shorthand for culture and vice versa. I don’t get as upset when people do use them interchangeably, but some people do.
I recognize people just use them interchangeably the way I use “Liberal” and “Leftist” interchangeably, but...they do mean different things.
When I say “culture”, it is what I call “Toxic Black Culture” which is rooted in racism, misogyny, worship of violence and lawbreaking, and contempt for the process of learning.
Not all blacks subscribe to this, and there are weirdly, some non-blacks who subscribe to it. (a lot of hip-hop and rap do resonate with these themes of “Toxic Black Culture”)
