I really liked Mark years ago... he was a FReeper and posted here often. Was one of the best constitional scholars around.

He bloomed into a full blown neocon war-o-phile who didn’t vote for Trump in ‘16 and hated him well into his first term.

The last few years, he’s just become a flaming, raging asshole who despises anyone/everyone who’s not down with his war-promoting, Israel first agenda.

Bannon disagreed with what Trump was doing

He does that all the time. He points to the intelligence he’s working with. I disagree with Bannon very often. I also do not have the intel Trump has. Neither does Bannon

Levin is different. He’s full of vitriol. If you re read or just read my comment you’re responding to you might get what I am saying

But you didn’t and you’re wasting my time

Bannon exposes NeoCons like Levin and Graham - calling them out by name. Levin is reacting to being exposed by Bannon as a shill for the military industrial complex and Israel.

Levin is reacting to something. You might be quite right

The problem is that these people, all of them, Bannon, Levine, and Carlson are stuck in their own version of ideological purity [helped along perhaps with some private financial inducements, but I leave that to the expert sleuths]. None of them are guided by an end goal-whare are we trying to get done around here? If you had your way what would this look like? Trump has a goal he is trying to achieve. These others have no clue where they are trying to get to. They might as well join the Islamacists in paradise with their 72 virgin journalists.

“you CANNOT negotiate a peace with Islamist ideologies “

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I agree.
Negotiating with Islamist regimes is a fantasy — it’s impossible. They don’t respect diplomacy; they exploit it. I sincerely hope President Trump’s original stance still holds: “Total and unconditional surrender of Iran.” That’s the only position that makes sense when dealing with an enemy that understands only strength.

PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH

A pox on both their houses. I’ll never forgive Levin for turning against Trump in 2015-16. He is a piece of shiite. And Bannon is a drunk phony who has been bashing Trump for 3 weeks, inviting on every manner of Jew-hater to his program. Bannon used to work at Goldman Sachs and in Hollywood. I don’t trust him any more than I trust Candyass Owens.

Complete nonsense. Levin supported Trump when he became the Republican nominee and has interviewed Trump many times. Levin is one of Trumps biggest supporters.

Not a good analogy. Modern military power is based on technology, weapons, organization, training, and national culture, not the number of trained swordsmen you can muster. The militaries of Arab and Muslim nations today are notoriously large but weak when tested due to cultural deficiencies. That is how after the October 7 attack, Israel quickly mobilized and defeated Hamas, Hezbollah, and now Iran.

More broadly, modern communications and American culture are gradually subverting Islam's atavistic teachings and lust for martyrdom. Given a chance, most Muslims in the Middle East today prefer having a better and more prosperous life to fighting losing wars with Israel or the US.

That Levin is aligning with Lindsey Graham says all anyone needs to know about him.

I don’t think Mark Levin understands just how tired Americans have become of conflict in the Middle East.

He does and doesn't care.

He's either bought and paid for by the defense industry, just like Graham, or believes in an Israeli First foreign policy.

While I take your point, I don't see their diverging points of view as a “problem.” I like to listen to all their arguments and then form my own opinion.

Bannon is the best at getting his points across as he uses Socratic method and frequently plays “devil's advocate” even w/those he strongly agrees. He is the only one of the three who put himself in harms way as a Naval officer on a Destroyer. That said, he is also a slob and seems to have been associated w/some questionable business practices.

Tucker is humorous and entertaining; but, often lacks focus and needs to control his inclination to be snarky at times.

Levin is very intelligent and highly knowledgeable about the Constitution; but his screeching and fiery invective is highly off putting at times.

Each of them make valid and valuable points that are informative.

Levin is a neocon warmonger.
He’d be among the first i’d nominate to be in a bunker buster catching contest.

Iran is not now nor has it been in the right from 77 on. But you can’t destroy all Persian people. You can’t control all Persian people. Israel has smacked them big time. All those who were in charge are now dead. Virtually all the weapons have been destroyed. While this peace may relaps into war from time to time, it needs to happen. Israel can’t control Persia. But hopefully the current government will change its focus. Remember Gaza was backed by Hamas. Hamas was backed by Iran. Iran is backed by Russia and China. Israel has done nothing to stop Russia or China. So at the most important level, Israel has done nothing except to expend money and munitions. China is still getting its oil. Russia is happy to keep the price of oil high. Both are happy to see America distracted. Israel is not the big picture. Its an easily manipulated little brother of the US. Just as Iran is a little brother to China and Russia.

Mullahs in power, ruling by force, until they can’t, subjugating those they can. Is there a way out, from under their thumbs?
