I agree 100%. And we have lots of solar for our home and do most of our driving in our EV. The govt has no business picking which industries it wants to succeed and which it wants to fail.

Besides, the tax credits don't help the end consumer anyway. The EV tax credit and solar tax credit artificially inflated the prices I paid up front. Just like everything else the govt "helps" people with (i.e. tuition and hospital costs have gone up bigly during the decades govt has "helped" people with them).

I so agree about the windmills ruining the beauty of the environment. We have way too many on the rolling hills here in Eastern PA and they’re hideous!! & most of the time only a few are actually turning while the rest just sit there...

Wind farms have been shown to increase the air temperature of their locale. They do this by slowing the prevailing winds and by creating turbulence in their wake. So your daughter is right. She’s pretty smart to know that.

Not only that, but windmills don't have a long life span. And disposing of a dead and broken windmill is an onerous project. Most landfills don't want them.
