I call total Bull $hit on this. We’re more likely to see real damage when the actual photos come out.
The facilities were underground (reports of 200 to 300 ft). The evidence of destruction is beneath the crater. The crater is the result of every sand particle in and below it being rearranged and the concrete structures of the underground facility being practically liquified.
As an example, in most areas after a major earthquake, the ground looks unchanged but none the less enormous, damage has been done.
Step 1 was getting all the anti-Trump, anti-USA enemies out of DOD and clamping a tight lid on the op.
Orilly? How?
(Was there a briefing given to Democrats back then?)
. . . Or is this just Iranian face-saving B.S.?
HA!!
Thats great!
+1
Columbo Republic LOL!!
They could have ordered the bombers to return to base in the middle of the attack, and bring back any illegal aliens they may have picked up along the way. /s
Yes, the same picture. This is a BS story.
It looks like the bombs triggered some large landslides.
I have a suspicious feeling that while you see little holes on the outside, there is a big fugly mess under ground.
Not sure if they reported what was dropped, but I suspect that we dropped big ones, like GBU 57.
That’s a 30,000 lbs bomb with ~7500 lbs of explosive filler.
They probably dropped three per target just to be really sure they get it.
IMHO-
“I just don’t see any sign that the entire mountain was taken down.”
That was not the object and clearing the surface would not accomplish anything. The pulverization goes way deep, and the shock waves go much deeper than that.
“””Oh, admit it. You have no idea what has actually been done. None of us do.””””
I do know that the video I saw of the blast had flames shooting out a tunnel entrance to the left of the blast.
I do know that a lot of rock was turned into ruble. And that when I dig in sand it keeps falling back in on what I just dug out. And that makes digging here more dangerous than digging in undisturbed packed soil. And a whole lot more work.
As long as American troops don’t go into Iran I am happy that the Iranian threat has been at the least setback for quite some time now.
The cost of this operation was cheap compared to the cost of a bunch of nut jobs setting of a nuke in the USA.
Well, then, why did you make the statements you made?
By your own words, you also condemn yourself as not knowing what you are talking about.
Therefore, you have said nothing.
interesting ...
Iran said it had shut sites down and pulled all people from them
So what?
The sites are now destroyed and the people and materials can be hunted down and eliminated.
Hit em again so we can see an impressive aftermath!
Thanks for that blow-up. I see it is 180-degrees from the earlier photos.
That’s what Iran claims anyway. Whatever the case they had advanced warning that the US was likely to hit the nuke plants and probably moved some things around. I don’t think negotiations are over yet. Iran still has kgs of uranium enriched to 60% that the US is going to demand at some point.
Well, that nonsense doesn’t clear anything up. I was saying none of us seem to know the after effects of the bombing—not fully. You were chastising a poster for making an observation when you don’t know either.
The mere fact that US military has capabilities and President has the guts to do what’s been done, is much more important than how much of a destruction has been achieved. What’s been destroyed can be repaired, but what’s been repaired can (and will be) be bombed again, again and again. There is a lot of things to consider for what’s left of Iranian regime power structure.
