What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is wrong with half of Texas?
😎
Seriously?
You’re in favor of squatters taking over your home?
Zackly.
Miss read that.
Thought he was the one making the case for squatters occupying your home.
Yes.
And any scumbag Democrat arguing in defense of squatters should come home to a family of about 25 illegal aliens living in their house, blasting their accordion music, tagging the walls, letting their babies pee all over the furniture and spreading their trash everywhere.
But they won’t.
They’ll do the Martha’s Vineyard thing.
A poorly-written headline
The DemonKKKrats: From squatters to squatters on America. We have a real cleanup challenge to make America clean again.
I checked. This is not the Babylon Bee.
Well hell, Walmart will tow, arrest, and fine you if you park your camper in their parking lot overnight.
So I say, mov into the Walmart store manager’s house
There’s apparently a problem with squatters in maryland alongbwith equally stupid legislators.
The house across the street is being rebuilt as a flip. The owner is nervous about squatters and asked me to keep an eye out.
If any show up I’ll call him and recommend he find a biker gang and $500 in cash. That should be enough to encourage the squatters to leave.
The Democrat party is full of people who hate us, hate America, and feel that we should all die for the sake of guilty white America.
I can’t imagine anyone thinking that would be allowable. It is not the migrant’s home & likely he has also entered it illegally. What right do they have to do either? Instead of doing this, I’d say the homeowner has every right to usher them out at the point of a gun if necessary and/or sue them for possible damages. The person/persons who suggested this should be told to leave the House of Representatives & don’t report back to work. It’s about the most insane thing I ever heard of. Did the Democrats give any rationale for this thinking?
For thinking people should not be able to break into your property and claim it as their own?
O-kay....
Right? Does anybody read anymore or is it all just knee jerk reactions to a headline? The Dems love that shit and we’re in serious trouble with some of the posts here
It would appear that Colorado’s Castle Doctrine covers the squatter situation:
Colorado’s Castle Doctrine allows individuals to use physical force, including deadly force, to defend themselves or others within their home or occupied vehicle against an intruder they reasonably believe is committing a crime and poses a threat. There is no duty to retreat before using such force.
Here’s a breakdown:
Colorado’s Castle Doctrine Law:
This law specifically addresses the use of force against intruders in one’s home or occupied vehicle.
No Duty to Retreat:
Unlike some jurisdictions, Colorado does not require a person to retreat before using force in self-defense within their home or occupied vehicle.
Reasonable Belief of Threat:
The law requires that the person using force reasonably believes the intruder is committing a crime and may use physical force against an occupant.
Protection from Liability:
If the conditions of the Colorado’s Castle Doctrine law are met, the person using force is protected from both criminal and civil liability.
“Castle Doctrine” Concept:
The Colorado’s Castle Doctrine law is essentially Colorado’s version of the broader “castle doctrine” concept, which recognizes a person’s right to be safe and secure within their home.
Key points about the law:
Occupied Vehicle: The protection extends to vehicles that are currently occupied.
No forced entry required: The intruder does not need to break into the home or vehicle; any unlawful entry is sufficient.
Reasonable belief is key: The person using force must have a reasonable belief that the intruder poses a threat.
In essence, Colorado’s Castle Doctrine law provides strong legal protection for individuals who use force, including deadly force, to defend themselves against intruders in their homes and occupied vehicles, without the need to retreat.
You will need a pass from the Lord High Mayor of your 15-minute city to take the train to the next town to visit grandma for her euthanasia appointment.
