Global oil prices jumped after Israel said it had struck Iran, in a dramatic escalation of tensions in the Middle East. Benchmark oil contracts, Brent Crude and Nymex light sweet, were up by more than 10% after the news emerged. The cost of crude oil affects everything from the price of food at the supermarket to how much it costs to fill up your car.

Irony:
Great news for “Drill, baby, DRILL!!!”
This was exactly what the US energy sector needed.
Tell me that’s just merely coincidence... /s
I ran to the gas station last night expecting this.
Meanwhile higher oil prices will benefit Vladimir Putin. Russian revenue for its war machine will soar.
Netanyahu helps Putin of course both men are on the International Court’s Most Wanted War Criminal List.
And there are people on here linking evil Iran to Putin looks like Bibi is doing a favor for Vlad.
More good news for Texas
hmmmm A boost for Russia.

“Irony: Great news for “Drill, baby, DRILL!!!””
Double Irony - Great news for Texas.
Uh-oh Irony - Great news for Putin.
“Iran supplies Russia with all it’s drones in Ukraine theater”

Great. Gas was ≈ $4.79 yesterday in California - I haven’t gone out today. I expect it to be over $5.00/gallon by now.
And, with the a new, $.65 cent/gallon tax set to begin on July 1st, gas will soar to $6.00/gallon in California if not more.
Love my state. Hate its government.
