I am not a member of the Proud Boys, but am a member of the "Oath Keepers" who got the same persecution. Yes, I looked into the Oath Keepers before joining and they are benign and consist of ex-military, police, and others who take their Oath to the Constitution seriously. Don't know if they're still operational.
Veterans for Constitutional Restoration (VCR) motto I wrote, and stand by it until death.
