Years ago, in the 80s, I watched C-span for a while. I would watch when there was voting on a bill.

I quickly noticed that Biden voted every time with the Democrats. Every time. I believe his record is 100% voting with the Democrats. I knew back then, because he looked good in a suit and was their man all the way he’d be a probably candidate for President. I really knew he would get in. They vote all together in a block.

Then they get everything they want done and none of it is good for us.

A squeaky-clean, self-funding conservative Republican (Peter Fitzgerald) won the seat, and when he was going after corrupt Illinois Republicans as well as Dems, it was made clear to him that the party would not hlet him get re-elected. Obama's people took out Jack Ryan, and the Republicans flew in Alan Keyes to go against Obama. It is the Republican Party of Illinois that enabled the Obama monster. He would not have run against an incumbent Peter Fitzgerald.
