Seems to me when that happens the owner should pull a gun on them and call the police and report a break-in and have them arrested ... and if one or two of them get shot ... self-defense.

Blame this on DeKalb County government in general and DeKalb DA Sherry Boston in particular. This would not happen in my county, our Sheriff has assured us. And I believe him. We arrest criminals, prosecute them, and incarcerate them for long time periods around here. And the criminals know it, the crime rate is low.

Yes, I understand Gwinnett has really gone downhill over the last 5-6 years.

Last year we were talking to old friends at an event who were about to move from Statesboro area to NE ATL. I told them in no uncertain terms to NOT move to N. Fulton or Gwinnett (which were in the area under consideration), but to go a tad north and make sure they bought in either Hall or Forsyth. The job opportunity causing the move was in Duluth or similar, so that would not be a problem.

I should follow up and see what they did.
