NOW: Karoline Leavitt just TORCHED The Washington Post for their bogus headline on fentanyl—demanding an immediate correction.
The headline?
“The mysterious drop in fentanyl seizures on the U.S.-Mexico border.”
Leavitt wasn’t about to let it slide:
“How is this mysterious? There is no mystery about why there is a decrease in fentanyl coming into the United States!”
She made it crystal clear who’s responsible for the drop in fentanyl trafficking.
“This administration’s strong border policies are the reason there has been a decrease in fentanyl trafficking.”
“His strengthened relationship with Mexican President Sheinbaum and all of the measures he has been taking to deter illegal human and drug trafficking at our United States southern border is the reason for plummeting fentanyl seizures at the U.S. Border.”
“There is NOTHING mysterious about that, and we’d like to see The Washington Post update their headline accordingly.”
She also called out the media’s total manipulation:
“This is clearly trying to intentionally manipulate the minds of Americans, and I think the American people understand why there has been fentanyl drop.”
And she exposed WaPo’s refusal to publish the facts:
“And our office responded to this inquiry, we provided a whole host of the reasons that fentanyl seizures have dropped at the southern border dropped and The Washington Post refused to run them.”
“And that’s despicable.”

Why don’t our congressman and senators use AI to research these enormous bills before they are passed? Amazon has been using AI to almost instantly look through hundreds or thousands of comments on books in order to list the most frequently stated characteristics whether positive or negative. Surely our proposed laws are more important than Amazon book reviews. It makes me sick that any law has 1000 pages.

That’s a great question....Congress and and POTUS’ admin needs to be asked this.

That is a shocking statistic. I wonder if the CBO gets to write their own rules for how they determine what the impact on the federal, tax revenue, etc., will

This exact question came to my mind also. Whoever slipped this into the Bill, I wonder what their connection is to the AI industry. Congress is so worthless. They don’t even write their bills. They just cobble together what lobbiests
have already written.

And...I’d love to see their ‘rule’ book and guidelines on how they determine their (cooked) numbers.
Congresscritters pass all that heavy lifting to staff they then pass the majority of that to lobbyists. The biggest daily thing on Congresscritter plate is constituent services and fund raising.
Ban lobbyists you say! The problem with that almost Congresscritters are ignoramuses about nonpolitical issues. Retail politics got them there, retail politics is all they know and its what they do. Retail politics keeps them there. There are a few exceptions but not many. For any complex economic\technical issue they have to deal with lobbyists are their sole sources of information. Information from lobbyists both pro and con on the issue. Are Congresscritters smart enough to weigh the presented info and make good decisions? Look at the current results to answer that question!

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the Navy to take the rare step of renaming a ship, one that bears the name of a gay rights icon, documents and sources show.
Military.com reviewed a memorandum from the Office of the Secretary of the Navy -- the official who holds the power to name Navy ships -- that showed the sea service had come up with rollout plans for the renaming of the oiler ship USNS Harvey Milk.
A defense official confirmed that the Navy was making preparations to strip the ship of its name but noted that Navy Secretary John Phelan was ordered to do so by Hegseth. The official also said that the timing of the announcement -- occurring during Pride month -- was intentional.

They are eating solid food so none of them need to be nursing or bottle fed (they are almost four months, they can wean at 3 some people wean them at 2).
