Turning on Trump has gotten Pence a lot more attention than he ever had as Trump’s VP.
Pence is such an irrelevant joke.
It was Biden that started negotiating for this jet a year ago.

This is so much BS. They are gifting it to the US government namely the defense department. It is not going to be Trump’s personal airplane. He already has one. IMHO.

You have never ever been part of any large scale retrofitting of anything if you believe that.. let alone one that involves custom built systems.
I support Trump and am one of his earliest supporters, but braggadocio is a tactic. Claiming something that isn’t realistic is commonly done, it’s a core part of marketing and persuasion and sales. Make unrealistic promises in order to get the deal signed, and deal with the reality that it’s not realistic after the fact.
Anyone who’s ever done engineering line level work in any industry has had to deal with this. Anything is said to get the deal signed and then reality of getting it done vs what was promised are dealt with.
If I had to guess, this whole affair is just as much a play to put a fire under Boeing to deliver the 747’s that were suppose to be delivered last year moving, as much as anything else.
One thing I can assure you, there is no chance that this 747 if it is accepted and transferred into the US hands will be flying as AF1 by fall.

Presidents receive gifts all the time. If a president can use one of the gifts to help the citizens then that’s great. He already said he would be putting it into his library when his term is up. In my research, I didn’t find a thing that Obama got above board or Clinton questionably through another source that could be used for the people. Much to do about nothing but only that Trump got it while ignoring the rest.
