Interesting.

I have regularly used fluoride toothpaste - did not have a cavity until I was 33. Then started using fluoride rinse and haven’t had another one since. I have had to change dentists a number of times due to insurance and other reasons - each of them and their assistance express surprise at how healthy my teeth are - now as I get older they are adding on “especially for someone of your age.” But then again...sounds like you pay careful attention to your teeth and keep them clean - that could be the common denominator between us and not the fluoride. Same as the ‘success’ of completely different types of diets - more because people are paying careful attention to what they are eating vs. the specific diet.

That is completely nonsensical. Sorry.

I object to it because it’s a mass medical experiment done without the consent of the person it’s being given to.

No substance is completely harmless. Some are more sensitive to a given chemical compound than others. People should be able to decide for themselves whether or not they want to put fluoride into their bodies.

Agreed.

But ironically, a medical experiment based upon a false premise and promoted by a loaded study.

“Fraud.”

Believe as you choose-I guess RFK does not know what he is talking about in regards to fluoride either? You can call it nonsense, I’ll call it a good reason to not to use the stuff, and that is fine with me...

I believe that it’s an individual thing. Too many variables.

My bet is fluoride played a minor, if not insignificant role in your oral health.

I’m 60 and I have history of one cavity, the result of not going to the dentist for 5 years as a young adult while both consuming all the wrong things and failing to perform regular oral hygiene.

Not a one since, and 100% fluoride free for about 12 years.

Agreed-no substance, no drug, no matter what it is can be dangerous to someone. No one considered thay before deciding to dump fluoride into so many municipal water supplies. One size does not fit all...

My bro and I both have extreme drug sensitivity-so did our mom. Mom was very careful to get a pediatrician who did not overload our immune systems, spacing our vaxxes over months, not weeks. My cub and both of his share that sensitivity, although to a lesser extent. A simple flu shot can send me into anaphylactic shock-1/2 of a Valium tab will put out my lights permanently-my bro ended up in the ER after getting a free flu shot at work a few years ago-he did not do that again. Needless to say, I’m an all organic paleo diet naturalist and I avoid vaxxes and drugs totally...

I was about 5 when the first fluoride toothpaste came out (Crest?). It came with a warning that children under 7 should not use it. That got lost somewhere along the way.

During the depressin my Grandmother told me how Arm & Hammer baking soda was used to brush teeth. Funny how baking soda is coming back in style. Tooth decay bacteria flourish in an
acid environment. Now, if they could just make a hard candy
that is not acidic???
