Preaching to the choir here. I bought a new car once. I took out a mortgage to buy a house once. Some people never learn. It’s hard work to see through the false measures of consumerist “successes”. In the American culture if someone is encouraging you to exchange capital for fitting in with the beautiful people on the television or other forms of psychological surrender, do exactly the opposite.
They even fired all of their ICE engineers.
Why, in your opinion, did Ford build manufacturing facilities in Mexico?
To lower its production costs, which are passed on to consumers.
No one is buy Ford crap anyhow. Especially E vehicles.
All part and parcel of the “Great Sucking Sound” which Ross Perot described in the early 90s. Thousands of small towns and millions of lives were ruined by allowing the rest of the world to protect their markets from US manufactures while the US had essentially open commercial borders.
In his June 2015 escalator speech to announce his candidacy, Trump described how he would pressure companies to build in America.
He is doing what he promised. A good thing. Not only American companies, but foreign concerns are rushing to move production facilities to the US.
BTW, tariffs have nothing to do with inflation.
“Both of you sound like Democrats, CCP, MSM and all other enemies of the USA.”
You’re the one defending unions on this site, for some REALLY WEIRD reason:

Wait, 90% of US workers are non union. I am pro US worker, pro tariffs. You are a CCP butt boy.
It's better to have a job and a TV costs $1000 than to have no job and a TV costs $800.
“Wait, 90% of US workers are non union. I am pro US worker, pro tariffs. You are a CCP butt boy.”
READ THE LINK - it was the SOVIETS who pushed unions in the US. Therefore, since you support unions, you MUST be a Communist - using your own ‘logic’.
The Tariff
We reaffirm our belief in the protective tariff to extend needed protection to our productive industries. We believe in protection as a national policy, with due and equal regard to all sections and to all classes. It is only by adherence to such a policy that the well being of the consumers can be safeguarded that there can be assured to American agriculture, to American labor and to American manufacturers a return to perpetrate American standards of life. A protective tariff is designed to support the high American economic level of life for the average family and to prevent a lowering to the levels of economic life prevailing in other lands.
In the history of the nation the protective tariff system has ever justified itself by restoring confidence, promoting industrial activity and employment, enormously increasing our purchasing power and bringing increased prosperity to all our people.
The tariff protection to our industry works for increased consumption of domestic agricultural products by an employed population instead of one unable to purchase the necessities of life. Without the strict maintenance of the tariff principle our farmers will need always to compete with cheap lands and cheap labor abroad and with lower standards of living.
The enormous value of the protective principle has once more been demonstrated by the emergency tariff act of 1921 and the tariff act of 1922.
Both of you sound like Democrats, CCP, MSM and all other enemies of the USA.
"But, in general, the protective system of our day is conservative, while the free trade system is destructive. It breaks up old nationalities and pushes the antagonism of the proletariat and the bourgeoisie to the extreme point. In a word, the free trade system hastens the social revolution. It is in this revolutionary sense alone, gentlemen, that I vote in favor of free trade."

Say it 50 times, but YOU are the one following in Marx’s shoes by pushing labor unions who are:
1. FUNDING THE DEMOCRATS
2. DESTROYING THE COUNTRY
Again, why are you on a pro-America site. Just to TROLL us, I guess.
Where did I support unions? Post where I did that.
