In traditional circles the “Francis effect” is used to describe the catholics fleeing diocesean parishes for traditional chapels to escape heresy.

Cardinal Sarah would be a superb choice. Notably, with Pope Benedict after his resignation, Sarah pressed his colleagues on the need for unity in the Church. The result is said to be a withering of the hopes of progressives for another Pope Francis. This may also make Sarah feared by progressives as too clever to be conned by their manipulations and deceptions.
