A district court judge, appointed by former President Joe Biden, is requiring President Donald Trump to bring roughly 12,000 refugees to the United States in a new court order issued this week.
Judge Jamal Whitehead, appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington in 2023 by Biden, says Trump must admit thousands of refugees who had been approved for resettlement in the U.S. before he signed an executive order to halt the refugee resettlement program.
“This Court will not entertain the Government’s result-oriented rewriting of a judicial order that clearly says what it says,” Whitehead writes:
The Government is free, of course, to seek further clarification from the Ninth Circuit. But the Government is not free to disobey statutory and constitutional law—and the direct orders of this Court and the Ninth Circuit—while it seeks such clarification. The Government’s obligation to process, admit, and provide statutorily mandated resettlement support services to the Injunction-Protected Refugees is immediate. Likewise, the Government’s obligation to restore funding, information, and operational support to its USRAP partners as necessary to process, admit, and provide resettlement services to these individuals is also immediate.After taking office, Trump signed the executive order to suspend the refugee resettlement program. As expected, those contractors whose funding relies on resettling refugees in American communities sued the Trump administration to restore the program.
In February, Whitehead blocked Trump from carrying out the executive order to suspend the refugee program, even as he admitted the president holds broad authority over immigration.
“The president has substantial discretion to suspend refugee admissions. But that authority is not limitless,” Whitehead wrote.

The leftists judges are trying to act like they have executive powers and issue judgements as if they were presidential executive orders. They know their judgements will be overturned but the mission is to stop Trump from being successful, disruption of his executive authority and bring him down.
Is it not time for Trump to say I will not obey this order unless it comes from the Supreme Court? Biden defied a Supreme court decision on student loan payback. Trump has defied no Supreme Court decision.
The Judicary is infested with left wing politically biased judges. The left can always find one to issue a decision that will tie Trumps executive decision up for months and years.

Currently President Trump will offer $1000 to any illegal who self deports. I suggest that by analogy he offers $10K to any of THEM who self deport back to their dark ancestral homeland.

Judges interpret the laws, they do NOT make them. Impeach this socialist bastard.

Apparently, you haven’t been paying attention for the last three months.
I explained in post number 40 why the judicial branch is subservient to the Legislative and Executive branches of government. The founders made it so in Article IV, Section 4. What Trump should do is ENFORCE our Republican form of government by having those responsible for trying to overthrow it arrested and sent to GITMO for trials and execution. The Supreme Court doesn’t run this country. We the people, through those we ELECT are in charge.
How many Divisions does the judge have?
It is time to tell these people, You have no jurisdiction here.
