18 States want sky-high electricity prices and frequent blackouts.
If wind power was low-cost, reliable, and did not require federal largesse, then you would have Republican states joining the lawsuit. But all 18 are radical leftist states which tells you all you need to know.

I’ve checked the National Weather Service wind forecasts and in the Atlantic the wind is too variable in location and intensity to make windmills economically viable.

Affordable - as long as it's subsidized.
There’s nothing to stop these States from continuing their Quixotic dream of using wind energy. USE YOUR OWN DAMN MONEY, NOT FEDERAL MONEY !

The states can still do it. They just will no longer get federal funding.

I have family in NY State - when driving up for a visit, many mountain/hill tops are dotted with the windmills - and usually, only about 10% of them are turning...what a waste.

I'm pretty sure that fiberglass doesn't burn, the blades are so unrecyclable that they bury the damn things to get rid of them kick the can down the road for future generations.
