Trump Making Deal With Rwanda to Accept Deportees

Evidently, we need more places to stash illegal alien criminals whose own countries won't take them back. In a somewhat unexpected development, the Trump administration is now in talks with the African nation of Rwanda to take some of these deportees. Advertisement

Rwanda's government and the Trump administration are discussing details about a potential agreement for Kigali to accept deportees from the U.S., including Africans and other non-Rwandan nationals, CBS News has learned.

Decisions on potential financial compensation for taking in the deportees and other details would be discussed within the next two weeks, according to a Rwandan official. A U.S. official and a Rwandan official both confirmed the active talks about sending third-country deportees from U.S. soil to the east African nation.

Rwanda, we feel sure, would be an unpleasant destination for any such deportees; it's a fair bet that Rwandan prisons lack most of the, shall we say, amenities of American prisons. No libraries, no gyms, and no basketball courts - for starters.

I think the Solomon islands would be a great destination. They could rot along with the jungle.

We’ll give them a little break. Send them to a country where they can adapt easier. Equatorial Guinea for the Hispanics. (Spanish is the official language there.) Taiwan for the Chinese.

All Trump is doing is setting up the United States for the next big scam.

We will be paying for the upkeep of those illegals long after they have been thrown in the pot and eaten.

The asylum seekers...[would be] cold, wet and miserable. This pretty much describes me whenever I go duck hunting.

You may be miserable but some ducks will have a more miserable morning.

We are the United States of America. Who can tell us “no” when it comes to returning their citizens to them?

Why pay anyone to take care of their citizens. Drop them off or cut them off from our markets and government payments
