Note the AP categorically states “mistakenly” deported in the article, which remains in dispute.
Saw it. Cops were on to them but it didn’t matter because what to do wasn’t their department. It’s like the ‘stand down’ order at Benghazi and like these illegals innocent people ended up dying.

Federal law typically requires a conviction before a deportation.
He could have beaten his wife in front of the courthouse and sent her to the hospital on a weekly basis and he could not be deported because of that unless he was convicted.

The fight is over the Alien Enemies Act which by its clear text might allow Trump to summarily removed all the illegal Mexicans and Venezuelans in the USA on the basis that their governments backed predatory invasions of the USA.
The Alien Enemies Act only applies to nationals. If Mexico cheerfully waves on Honduran invaders, the Honduran invaders can’t be deported under the Act, but Mexican invaders can be.
He was NOT mistakenly deported to El Salvador. He was in the country illegally and a member of a violent gang, as was determined by two courts which ordered him deported to his home country.
Outrageous how the media and lefty pols describe this criminal as a "Maryland man and father mistakenly deported."
