Pierre Poilievre came up with some snappy quotes on TV but he proved to be a lousy campaigner. Canada is most definitely not a good candidate for the 51st state - would simply be another California, and Quebec would add a third major language to complicate life.

Maybe if Alberta and Saskatchewan were interested in joining as states it might make sense.
