For Tampa FL's residents who do NOT speak or read Spanish, Walmart's corporate overlords have just declared you to be an official minority.
As of yesterday morning, Walmart's corporate (not sponsored) website comes up entirely in Spanish, with no obvious "Press 2 for English" option showing anywhere.
Are they for real?
A search online resulted in dozens of so-called "explanations" as to why this kind of thing might be happening to you on your computer.
One explanation given was that a "business" might switch to Spanish as its default language in corporate communications if/when the demographic in a locality it serves becomes predominately Hispanic.
Congratulations, Hillsborough County, we are now officially an Hispanic enclave. Puerto Rico and Venezuela north.
Hasn't President Trump been talking about making English the official language of the U.S.?
I guess Walmart has other ideas.

Boycott. Ask the managers if they are too stupid to learn English. If I could speak Spanish in the area, I’d go into that Walmart, speaking Spanish, and states that I only understand English.

I’m in the Orlando, FL area and Walmart.com is in English for me.
I’m on the west central coast of FL, just checked all the local Wally World sites (we have 3, ugh), they’re all in English. I’m using the Brave browser set to English and each site is in English for me.
we are in Florida too. IF our local Wal-Mart changes the predominant language of us smelly Wal-Mart people to predominantly the language of the taco smelly Wal-Mart people... Adios Wal-Mart. you will never smell us again.

Turning it into a sheet hole. I went to Mexico in January and I will never go again. I enjoyed it, there were nice things about it, but when I read about the cartels, they can keep their country, their crime, their gangs.
