Imagine my surprise when in the spring of 1914 when I had dinner with Woodrow Wilson, D.W. Griffith and racist, segregationist Attorney General James McReynolds. They all sat around talking about the glories of the KKK and how to re-segregate the government after decades of Republican desegregation. Oh wait, that was true. Not some stupid fictional account by a New York Times columnist. The Democrats are and always have been the Party of Race Hatred.

I knew a woman who, as a young girl, lived for a few months inside Hitler's bunker during Germany's collapse. Her father was a crypto radio operator, and they were with him during his last duty rotation in the bunker. She was six years old at the time, and played with the Goebbels' children. Every morning at breakfast everyone would line up and Hitler would greet his entire staff. She recalls him talking to her and tweaking her cheek.
When the bombing started she and her mom were sent away. Of course, the Goebbels stayed.
She recalls the Russian troops taking them into custody, but doesn't remember how they ended up in American custody.
