The Trump administration announced Monday it would be freezing $2.2 billion in multi-year grants and contracts for Harvard University after university President Alan M. Garber announced the same day the school would not be complying with the Trump administration's demands to combat antisemitism.

In response, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr wore a Harvard basketball shirt for a news conference Tuesday night.

There should be no federal funding of private sectarian institutions, period.
Not conditional on compliance with whatever policy.

It's particularly galling when the institution has a multi-billion dollar endowment.

Steve Kerr’s net worth in 2025 is estimated at $65 million, according to multiple sources including Celebrity Net Worth and The Sporting News.

Mighty nice of him to not care about all of us poor taxpayers getting bled dry by the incredibly wasteful and out-of-control fed gov. With his fortune made on the backs of grown men playing a kids game, he can afford to not care about us chumps, dregs, deplorables, and bitter clingers.

You have to know where he is coming from. His father was killed by Islamic terrorists while leading the American university in Beirut, Lebanon. He remains an apologist for Islamic terrorists, and he himself still suffers from the Stockholm syndrome.

Did you count returnable bottle and can deposits?

Think of all the homeless people including the millions of children who go to bed without one full meal in a day? And the many who do poorly in school due to hunger.

11 million children are in poverty.

I’m sure Harvard types live a life of yachts, cocktail parties and luxury vacations.

Grow up, Steve!
Even tho he’s about 59 y/o, he still spouts off like some Kent State or Berkeley liberal arts student.

Would he have had the same opinion on standing up to bullies if the Jewish students at Harvard has armed themselves (or even practiced a little krav maga) against the thugs blockading them from the library and other buildings? Or would he have told the Jews to quietly accept their fate and take the free train rides?

You can't spell krav maga without MAGA.

When Colon Krapernik started krapping all over this great nation, I ceased paying attention to the NFL. Very soon after, I also ceased watching or listening to the NBA, MLB, Nascar, and any other anti American creepozoids. Just the headline of this article reinforces my decisions. My wife and I enjoy walking to the local Little League parks and games.
