They're not playing 5D chess. They are both extremely good lawyers who know that if you don't follow the correct processes, you can lose even if you are in the right. They're doing things the right way so that it will stick. And what they don't do...well, they won't have done it because the law doesn't support it.

Bongino has always also said he’d get to the bottom of who planted the bomb (or fake bomb) outside the DNC on Jan 6 and who was responsible for the cocaine in the White House.

If you don’t think they knew whos coke it was the day they found it, you are not thinking clearly. They know. That is why they wanted the evidence destroyed.
