I'm not up on the roster of FBI field office leadership candidates, so I can't comment on who was passed over for who was selected.

All I can ask is if not this guy, then who SHOULD have been chosen?

Do we know who the other qualified people are, or do we only know who we don't like once they're chosen?

It seems to me that the people who are candidates at the top are known people with histories and CVs, and the rest of them are unknown to the general public. In fact, don't we often claim "sources and methods" when we think something should be "sensitive" and kept secret? Isn't this why the identities of lower-level agents aren't disclosed?

So who do we think SHOULD have been chosen? Do we even know the roster of available people or do we just argue over whomever WAS picked?

If you remember correctly, Trump would not have been allowed to fire anyone at that point, especially Wray and Barr before he lost 2020.

We have learned from multiple sources that a prominent GOP member of the @Weaponization and @JudiciaryGOP committees was the pressure point behind Jensen’s hiring. This is not surprising to anyone who’s been following the weak @Weaponization committee work and known reticence to work on behalf of innocent J6ers and legitimate government whistleblowers.

Whichever one above thinks J6 was an Insurrection and is a neverTrumper and has some clout

This is an issue that Trump needs to get some feedback on.

It's possible that he'll intervene if he does.

There is obviously absolutely no reason to trust Jensen.

If it's true maybe this guy Jensen is just an effective hit man who followed orders from his old boss and will follow orders of the new boss. A soldier is a soldier.
Patel and Bongino are not stupid. And I refuse to believe they are traitors until I see evidence of their treachery more than this one appointment.
Let the man explain himself before we go all scorched earth.

“Some”?

Say “most” and I think you’re on to something.

Got no clue. It will be interesting to see what the truth on this turns out to be. I’d find it hard to believe that Patel would ever promote someone of this character, and will be disappointed if it’s actually factual.

For cryin’ out loud, Trump 2016 redux. Here I was hoping that he would surround himself with supporters. Kash Patel has proven that assumption wrong.

Between Sessions, Barr, Whitaker and Blondi, the Trump administration AGs have now gone 1692 days with NO indictments of Shadow State goons!!

Why are you counting the others? Bondi was no where near Washington when those losers failed, or refused to do their job? She’s been in office since February 5th. Barely two months. I’ll give her a little more time before I make any judgements on her.

Because for 1692 days I’ve heard the very same BS. I would think by now you’d be sick of it too. Rather than indicted Shadow State Goons, Blondi and Patel are PROMOTING them! Check out your new leader of the FBI DC Field Office, Steven Jensen, and tell me to be patient.

Never trusted Kash Patel, since:

Kash Patel overrules Elon Musk as new FBI boss throws down gauntlet to DOGE
Daily Mail ^ | 2-23-25 | Will Potter

Patel instructed agents at the bureau to disregard an email Musk sent to workers earlier on Saturday, titled: 'What did you do last week?'

Musk's email ordered workers to reply to the message with five bullets detailing all of their accomplishments at work in the past week and to cc in their manager.

Not long after, Patel overruled Musk's memo with his own message, making it clear that the FBI 'is in charge of all of our review processes, and will conduct reviews in accordance with FBI procedures.'

What happened to Patel? I can’t believe it! He got to DC, hell bent for leather, and rolled over on us.

Pulled a Jeff Sessions - Christopher Wray manuever, that created an institutional moat.

"Because for 1692 days I’ve heard the very same BS. I would think by now you’d be sick of it too."

I don't listen to it, don't fret about it, so it doesn't bother me. There are plenty of other things that need to be dealt with in this country that I'm concerned with instead of focusing on what the DOJ/FBI is doing at this precise moment. Nobody knows what is going on behind the scene, and after only two months, I'm not going to get my panties in a twist. I'm not someone who expects instant gratification, especially when we had a potato and his minions in the White House who had four years to destroy this country. I'll take what I can get, whenever it happens, and hopefully things will eventually happen. Rome wasn't built in a day.

1692 days of exactly what you just posted and not one indictment.

Funny, Day One, the Biden DOJ had the DC Gulag being packed! The FBI, DAY ONE, had fanned out across the country rounding up patriots for their sham trials.

Oh heck no, Rome wasn’t built in a day and that’s why you’re OK that after 1692 days the Trump AGs have yet to lean over to pick up the first brick. You’re a lost cause on this one.

I’m trying to remember where I first heard about the possibility of nukes planted in American cities by the cabal.

One thing is certain: it was never aired on Fox News, CNN, the other ones, nor did I learn about it from the “fact checkers.”

C210N, do you have an adequate answer for vivenne’s question?
