Coons was trying to highlight his party's issue with the Trump administration looking to get involved with Greenland for the sake of national security. As Townhall covered all last week, Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance traveled to Greenland, where they met with American Guardians at a U.S. Space Force base on the island. The Democratic senator claims he wants to see the administration focus on other issues, arguing that perhaps Americans are hoping for that as well. He couldn't just say that, though. He had to insult these Americans in the process as well.
In remarks that the Rapid Response 47 X account aptly noted amounted to Democrats "SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLORS," Coons offered that "your average Middle American" couldn't even find Greenland on a map, implying that they were too stupid

Any Beatle fan from my generation knows where it is because to find America, the Beatles turned left at Greenland. :-)
what I find funny is on most maps, northern canada and russia are green but greenland, at a lower latitude, always appears snow covered!!
Coons is so dumb he couldn’t find his own dick in the dark.
No. Coons is right. You are supremely educated by today’s standards.
The average American reads at 5th grade level or lower. https://www.thepolicycircle.org/briefs/literacy/#:~:text=In%20the%20United%20States%2C%2054,competitiveness%20on%20the%20global%20stage.

The average American is world class ignorant. It’s why Trump took to social media, thanks to Baron. Young voters have a hard time with written communication. Problems involving math or logic need in depth visual explaining.
This ignorance is a feature of our education system that helps elect Democrats. Rush coined the phrase “low information voters”.

Coons sounds like a kid I knew in first grade. Whenever he learned something new, be it a number or word or little fact, he would call everyone else stupid. Unfortunately for Duncan, for that was his name, he was far behind the rest of us.
By the third grade, he was tracked with the slower kids. By high school, he was somewhere in the vast body of students well below the gifted.
Bet he couldn’t tell us why it is considered an island and not a continent.
Your average Democrat senator named Coons is too stupid to keep his underage daughter out of the gropey hands of Pedo Joe Biden.
Coins isn’t wrong but ask yourself why is he saying it out loud? When conservatives decry educational attainment as proof of failed liberal policies we are pilloried as racists.
Now that the uneducated are voting for Trump the left is going to start writing them off. The Demonrats are the party of wealth and power and edukation.
In school, I looked at the maps.
The different countries were different colors.
Some were colored green.
Today ‘green’ means full of solar and windmills.
Things have changed.
Coons is not wrong. But we might sample most any people group today and find them in want of a brain.
he may have a point about how dumb the average American voters are
a lot of Americans voted for Democraps
Sorry, but his knowledge and capabilities are RETARDED ! HE HAS LEARNED NOTHING AS AN ADULT.
You do know what RETARDED means right?
Sen Coons looks a bit slack jawed in that picture ... probably been that way since he rode the short school bus.
Coons couldn’t find his ass with both hands......
Democratic Sen. Coons: 'Your Average Middle American' Is Too Stupid to Find Greenland on a Map.Only the ones from public schools led by curriculum from the Dept.Of Education and teacher's unions.
I’m in central PA, pretty rural area. Public school proficiency in math, science, and reading, are mostly below 65%. Many are well below 50%.
There are three universities I regularly frequent, as I have done for about ten years. One (Bucknell) is considered a prestigious college. I’m fairly certain that fewer than half these college students are properly educated in anything outside their particular field of interest, and if it’s STEM, they’re essentially idiot savants. (If it isn’t STEM, omit the “savant” part.)
They don’t read books, they can’t write cursive, they don’t know Shakespeare from Shinola.
Your average middle American could find Coons’ forehead with a scope, however! ;-P
Has Coons ever made sense?
