It’ll cost you, pal.
The one that screwed us? Good.
Cost him what? He’s already PM of some country, worst possible case he retires to a villa in southern France for the rest of his life.
The communists are going on offense. Good luck comrade loser.
He’ll run off to the ccp… and they’ll be waiting. Canadian sovereignty s/
You always find out who your real friends are when the money tree dries up.
They already bought Airbus and Siemens for big ticket purchases. Let’s see how their economy is as part of the EU. Car parts for VW and BMW, I think not.
“Military cooperation” ?
You have to have a military to cooperate.
Rather than whining about what was it is a smart move for them to move on but it will take them years to readjust when you consider exports to the US are 28% of Canada’s GDP while our exports to them are an insignificant 1.2% of our GDP. Now NATO should follow the same path. But I doubt they will not until we throw cold water in their face and formally withdraw to attend to our real vital national security interests in this hemisphere and Asia and building the Space Force to protect our homeland
He’ll be fine. Canada will be poorer for it, but he doesn’t care.
Does he not understand that the lumber they export to the US isn’t needed, we have trees and if we cut them down from time to time we wouldn’t have as many fires. Auto parts and pieces of autos can be made here, wheat? Our farmers can stop growing soy and go back to wheat. We’d be better off without soy.
Energy? Maybe NY would be willing to build some plants. We can work around it.
Our old relationship is over? Oh. They’re no longer going to be our favorite country to the north of the U.S.?
Hey, Mark, why don’t you recall your ambassador, break diplomatic relations, and close the border? That will really hurt the feelings of everyone in the US.
He said Canada would respond with retaliatory tariffs that will have “maximum impact” on the US.

According to Free Trade Ideologues and the theology they espouse.(See Senator Paul for an example)
Carney will only be hurting his own country with his retaliatory tariffs.
“We shall see.”
From my perspective, looking at their GDP & trade ratio, he’s entering a gunfight with a peashooter.
I think those hosers have two options:
1.) Accept their role as dependent upon the U.S.
2.) Get off their frozen read ends and build a more diverse economy.
They'll be fine, just have to tighten their belts a bit, and increase trade with Greenland... if Greenland needs their products...
How dare Trump insist on Canada paying the same tarrifs that they impose on us.
Doesn’t he know that the globalist order is that the U.S. subsidize the World.
Ahhh, progress!
