I’d like to see Trump or someone near that level give her a call and demand that she reconvene with the faculty and explicitly tell them that she lied to them. Trump gets everything he wants. The faculty gets screwed. She lied to them because she thought she could get away with it. Force her to humiliate herself publicly. Like a good old Chinese Communist Struggle Session. If she declines to do so, her university should suffer endless heavy financial blows.
Once the transcript makes its way to the White House, Trump should have a press conference and publicly announce that since there is irrefutable evidence that the President of Columbia University has publicly proclaimed that she lied about changing the way the university is going to be run in order to obtain money from the federal government, that the federal government is now not going to adhere to the agreement made with Columbia, because Columbia breached the agreement. He should probably also demand that the governing board of Columbia University fire this woman from her position, along with anyone else who cooperated with her in breaching the agreement. Then he should say that funds will be restored to Columbia when Columbia proves that it has made those changes over a substantial period of time, and that must be verified by independent auditors chosen by the federal government. Otherwise, Columbia can go suck an egg.
