This race could lead to Impeachment #3 against Trump unless GOP voters turn out (and vote early if that’s allowed in WI). I know Musk is spending on this race, and I did my part - I sent $50 to Schimel’s campaign about a month ago. It’s up to WI voters. Given how the GOP lost a state legislature seat to a Democrat in a solidly red district in PA yesterday, not hoping for the best.

That’s a problem for Wisconsin republicans. Outside money will come in. Will it make THE difference? Scary potential outcome
Throwing money at a race will do little, you gotta win over the voters and so far things are messy and unsettled and voters do not like it.
Six million votes cast by 4.3 million voters will be hard to ‘splain.
So she’s already doing ex parte activity while campaigning?
So we know the Demorats consider this to be an important race. Why don’t the Republicans also consider this race to be very very important?
When does redistricting occur? Also, there are times that the federal courts get involved in redistricting.

You cant just take two seats that people won and say “Oh well you’re out”
The problem is Republican voters dont give a rats behind about special election races, they only show up in the general election they figure “Trump already won dont care anymore”
Republicans all across the nation still refuse to play hardball. Because, you know, if Republicans “push the envelope” ... well ... when Democrats get the chance ... they might really do something extreme ... they might ... abuse their power.
But we see Democrats do extreme things every day. It’s been going on for years. And we never respond to it.
The Wisconsin election? That seems like a big deal. But the district court issue is also a big deal. Maybe the Republicans should flat out say that no court has any power over them. Not even the Supremes. Go extreme. Swing for the fences. What are we afraid of? That some Democrat somewhere might turn around and abuse their power? Happens every damn day.
