Terror Sponsor Qatar Shaping Anti-Israeli Curricula for 8,000 American Schools in All 50 States

After Iran, Israel does not have a greater enemy than Qatar. In addition to Qatar providing Hamas with financial and diplomatic support, Qatar is also funding the ‘Palestinian’ propaganda war against Israel in America. Most especially in our schools, but also on television and on social media. Qatar’s goal is to erode American public support for Israel, thereby destroying American diplomatic and military support for Israel in the years ahead.

The Qatari government is using its funding of an American college where the curriculum for thousands of American K-12 schools is drafted to reshape the way school children in the U.S. are taught, injecting anti-Israel bias into primary and secondary school education, a recently published report warns.

Last week, the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) published a report documenting the Qatari government’s extensive foreign influence and anti-Israel bias infiltrating U.S. K-12 classrooms through Brown University’s Choices Program.

This curriculum, used by over 8,000 schools across all 50 states and reaching more than one million students, operates with undisclosed foreign funding and has been found to systematically distort historical facts to delegitimize Israel.

The report also raises significant concerns about transparency, oversight, and compliance with federal disclosure laws.

According to the ISGAP report, Qatari funding has led to a systematic manipulation of educational materials used by the Choices Program within the same units over the last decade, gradually shifting its curriculum to present an increasingly anti-Israel perspective.

Changes include the removal of key historical documents and the omission of others, the misrepresentation of Israel’s capital in maps, and the exclusion of balanced perspectives on Israeli history and diplomacy.

Furthermore, the report reveals that the Qatar Foundation International (QFI) has played an undisclosed role in shaping the Choices Program’s curriculum and teacher training.

The report also highlights a critical lack of transparency and oversight in schools utilizing the Choices Program. Schools are not informed when curriculum content is modified, and the proprietary nature of the digital curriculum prevents parents, school boards, and educators from reviewing and assessing changes. This raises serious ethical and legal concerns regarding accountability in education.

Republican Congressman Kevin Kiley from California, Chair of the Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education of the House Education & Workforce Committee, said that it appeared that “foreign influence from Qatar has infiltrated the Choices Program hosted at Brown University, a curriculum widely adopted in K-12 schools across the country.”

Kiley said he would work “with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to assure foreign influence does not promote antisemitism at American schools.”

The report also exposes the opaque legal and financial structure of the Choices Program, which operates under Brown University’s name while maintaining an ambiguous status that obscures compliance with federal disclosure laws.

...

The authors of the report said they found substantial evidence suggesting that Brown University may have failed to disclose foreign funding as required under the Higher Education Act. Additionally, the report raises concerns about the potential exposure of student and teacher data to third-party entities.

“This is a direct attempt to manipulate American students by embedding ideologically motivated. foreign propaganda in their education,” Dr. Charles Asher Small, ISGAP’s executive director, said.

“Foreign entities with known ties to extremist ideologies should not be shaping how our children learn about history and the Middle East. The lack of transparency and oversight in this case is a threat to educational integrity and democratic values. American students should not be used as pawns in foreign propaganda campaigns. It is time to demand transparency, accountability, and an end to the silent manipulation of our children’s education.”

Universities bring these people here and most of them never leave. This undermines opportunity for Americans. With respect to Iran and Qatar I do not believe that enemies of an ally make that ally above reproach. This appears to be an effort to take the focus off of any nation trying to rule the world. I am not certain that we should continue to pick and choose for the rest of the world.

“With respect to Iran and Qatar I do not believe that enemies of an ally make that ally above reproach.”

Been to Israel? This Guy has, in Spring 1992 during Passover. The River Jordan and Lake Gennesaret (Sea of Galilee) were both gently overspilling their banks due to very unusual levels of winter precipitation and subsequent snow melt.

Recent archaeology seems to have established without a doubt the true site of biblical Bethsaida near Lake Gennasaret. It’s magnificent. A 5th thru 8th-century Basilica honoring the memory of Bethsaida residents Peter and James. A mosaic declares Peter “Chief of the Apostles.”

The Holy House, the birthplace and then home of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and later the Holy Family, was miraculously transported from Nazareth in Israel, west across the Mediterranean for protection against depredation by Islamic invaders. The exact foundation can still be found.

The place where they laid Jesus, glorious Christ of the Father, is now certainly known, by a certain unique miracle that occurred during structural restoration within the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, established on the site (in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem) during the fourth century ARSH.

Israel is now INUNDATED by life-giving water due to unprecedented advancements by ingenious Israelis in desalination technology drawing seawater from the Mediterranean. Israel’s friendly neighbors are also benefitting greatly.

So much of a positive and wonderful nature has and is arising out of Israel. A splendid ally of America. Worthy of criticism, yes. But also of great praise.

This article is NOT about immigration and the presence of Qatari students in American schools.

It is about curriculum changes American history and social sciences teachers are being inculcated with and encouraged to use in their classrooms at American grade and high schools.

The curriculum presented at seminars the teachers attend at Brown University is in many instances anti-Israeli with materials that also re-write history from a revisionist Arab viewpoint regarding the Middle East, Afghanistan, Africa, and also the Vietnam War.

The "Choices Program" at Brown is financed by the government of Qatar without full disclosure of that fact to the teacher attendees or to the school districts participating in the program.

These seminars have been in place at Brown University since 2013. They are presented by American "scholars and college professors" to the visiting K-12 school teachers attending during the Summer months when school is not in session.

From what I have read there are no Qatari educators doing the presentations at Brown so the program is even more misleading, due to the "cover" it operates under as appearing to be "all-American".

Broward County, Florida is one school district whose teachers have been attending these seminars and then exposing Florida's students to its anti-Israeli and anti-American content and revisionist propaganda for years.

It is no wonder we have pro-Palestinian demonstrations by American school students on campuses. Look what they have been exposed to and taught in the lower grades.

American school children being propagandized and radicalized by Arab extremist curriculum taught to them by our own teachers in our own local schools.

For more than forty years Qatar’s ruling al-Thani family has been the major supporter of the international and radical Muslim Brotherhood. Yet, our Pentagon has played footsie with the Thani for years, and will continue to do so, even under Trump.
