Dr. Oz pledges to fight health care fraud but makes no commitments on Medicaid funding cut

Dr. Mehmet Oz promised senators on Friday to fight health care fraud and push to make Americans healthier if he becomes the next leader of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Leading the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services presents a “monumental opportunity” to make the country healthier, Oz told senators Friday morning.

“We don’t have to order people to eat healthy, we have to make it easier for people to be healthy,” adding that he considered maintaining good health a “patriotic duty.”

In a discussion about Gavin Newsom on Fox someone said one out of every 5 dollars on MediCal (??) goes to an illegal.
And Newsom had to have the state secure a loan to pay for the current system.

Memo to California: stop paying for the in house enemies of the US known as illegals. They cost too much.

I don’t like Dr Oz. would prefer he not be approved. He was flip floppy on his show - the little I watched it, constantly promoting things with just snippets of info, like a constant sales man. I don’t trust him.
