Democratic Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury held up a sign directly next to President Trump that read 'this is NOT Normal' as he entered the House chamber.
The president was making his way through the crowd ahead of his address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night when he came directly face-to-face with the New Mexico lawmaker.
The sign appeared to be handwritten in black in on a piece of white paper.
The president appeared to look directly at it.
He then rolled his eyes before turning away and continuing to greet Republican lawmakers on the opposite side of the aisle.
The 78-year-old president appeared to be talking about the sign even after looking away from it as he was seen pointing his thumb over his shoulder has he spoke to another GOP lawmaker.
According to DailyMail.com's lip reader Nicola Hickling, Trump said 'this ain't normal. She isn't great to work with at all.'
Stansbury continued to hold the sign in the background behind Trump without speaking until it was ripped directly out of her hands.

The arrow is pointing at her and I believe she is not. It also should have read “and I’m stupid.”
Misuse of government property.
Somebody might have added that red arrow .........
Good one!
Yep I’m sure you’re right but I believe a “and I’m stupid” would have kept someone from removing it from her. Pity she’s not that bright. 😉
😅😆😄😂🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪
I actually agree with her. When’s the last time we had a president committed to draining the DC swamp?
Re Trump's address tonight:
If you replaced each 'resisting' democrat with a member of the CCP, would their rejection of everything he said, angry expressions and behavior be that much different?
It's as if we had enemy combatants from Guantanomo Bay glaring at our President in place of Dem members of Congress. It's beyond resistance. They are refusing to acknowledge the legitimacy of our elected president or participate in government, even as 'civil audience members'.
They either have their candidate win or they will proudly work to turn government functions into public spectacles of their discontent. The President's address was not designed for their entertainment; the public was invited to watch the functioning of our government. If Dems don't get their way on issues like Ukraine, they will vigorously, and publicly undermine the President and all who serve him along with all who voted for him.
How far is this from sedition?
sedition /sĭ-dĭsh′ən/noun
- Conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of a state.
- Insurrection; rebellion.
- The raising of commotion in a state, not amounting to insurrection; conduct tending to treason, but without an overt act; excitement of discontent against the government, or of resistance to lawful authority.
With their behavior the Democrats want the public to see them saying to our elected President, "We won't listen to you!" "We hate you!" "We'll destroy you" while seated in Congress. I reached a new level of disgust tonight.
Obviously if a spouse treats their mate this way, and works to rally the public to treat their spouse this way, there IS NO REAL MARRIAGE LEFT. We didn't see Trump address Congress; we saw Trump address Republicans and enemies.
The Democrats have chosen to refuse to function as members of Congress. Why are they still collecting a salary and staying around to vandalize contributing members and the functioning of government?
I’m so stealing that! :D *sound of running feet*
Fantastic-----post of the week-------must go viral.
Minnesota is not normal.
My wife, a special education educator, said the Dems acted like school kids. I agreed and said, “Even your special education kids don’t act that bad.”
Your post I would rate as the post of the week. Kudos to you!
And the round hand signs the rats had reminded me of the commercial running on medication for depression, it fits
