White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced that she will not be attending the White House Correspondentsā Association (WHCA) dinner. During a podcast episode with Sean Spicer, who served as President Donald Trumpās White House press secretary for the first six months of 2017, Leavitt said that she would not attend the April 26th dinner.
āI will not be in attendance at the White House Correspondentsā Dinner, and thatās breaking news for āThe Sean Spicer Show,āā Leavitt said. She went on to say that she feels like the WHCA āhas truly become a monetized monopoly over the White House and the coverage of the president of the United States in America.ā
āThis is a group of journalists whoāve been covering the White House for decades,ā she said. āThey started this organization because the presidents at the time were not doing enough press conferences. I donāt think we have that problem anymore under this president, so the priorities of the media have shifted, especially with this new digital age.ā
She also stated that the WHCA has been an āexclusive group of journalists who cover this White House, they have not really welcomed other people, new media, independent journalists, with open arms, and so we thought it was time to expand the coverage and determine who gets to be part of that 13-person press pool, who gets to ask the president of the United States questions in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One.ā ā One America News Network
Our Take: The White House told everyone that they were shaking up the mechanisms that govern the mediaās privilege of covering the White House. They created the ānew media seatā and smacked down journalists that abused the privilege of covering the White House in intimate spaces.
Yet, the seats are still filled with mockingbirds. Weāve all been wondering what kind of power the WHCA was going to retain and if change in press access was real or rugpull.
We have some signal on this with Karolineās announcement.
The WCHAās power lies in its legitimacy. If the principal players donāt attend their parties, then their parties will be sad and super mockable, and the people that throw the parties will lose their credibility.
And Karoline isnāt attending their parties.
Good.
Itās long past time for the professional corporate liars to lose their power and legitimacy and to be recognized for what they are: Super Mockable.

The more I read, the more I'm considering the possibility that the CIA were trying to frame the Soviets/Cuba for JFK's assassination, in order to cover their tracks and create broader war.
It seems like the CIA were trying to establish the idea that Oswald was connected to the Soviets/Cubans. It's like they were trying to make it obvious. Maybe I am way off base, and perhaps the Soviets/Cubans did play a role, but it seems like the CIA were trying to steer the conversation towards blaming the Soviets.
My reasoning is that after JFK's death, LBJ escalated Vietnam and gave the CIA their next war to launder money from. A war that JFK did not want, despite many in the intelligence community pushing for it.
The CIA tried to drag the US directly into war in Cuba, JFK refused to do it, and then he averted nuclear war. Then the CIA tried to drag the US directly into the war in Vietnam, and JFK refused to do it. JFK was repeatedly standing in the way of the CIA from utilizing their business model, also known as, war.
The Soviets did not benefit from JFK's assassination, but the CIA did. Soviet PM Khrushchev respected JFK after the Cuban missile crisis, and viewed him as a rational counterpart. Meanwhile, LBJ was an impulsive warhawk. The Soviets did not express joy after JFK's death, they expressed concern. Things only got worse for the Soviets geopolitically after JFK's death, and the CIA only continued to get more powerful.
Obviously there is no smoking gun that proves this definitively, it's just an observation based on what I am seeing from the files, and a scenario I think is worthy of consideration.
