With Putin and his supporters “Nazi” in Ukraine has a very specific meaning. It is anyone who supports a Ukrainian national identity independent of Russia. Putin, like many Russian nationalists, views Ukraine as an artificial country, a product of anti-Russian intrigue in the west. Those who think that this is just about NATO expansion do not know the Russian mind. It is about returning Ukraine the bosom of mother Russia.

After watching Putin beat his head against the wall for 3 years I agree with him on this. It is ludicrous to think he'd attack NATO.
Maybe we shouldn’t have fomented an illegal coup and installed a puppet government that threatened Russia’s access to its naval base in Crimea and that ended up persecuting and killing the ethnic Russian population in Ukraine.
Russia is close to accomplishing everything it wanted in this war.
Maybe the US should stop attacking countries thousands of miles away with insane/evil “color revolutions” where we replace democratically elected Presidents with obedient puppets of our choosing who will do all they can to push Russia to war. The US has pushed for war with Russia for the past 20 years. The US toppled the Libyan government and the Egyptian government and the Syrian government and the Romanian President who was just chosen and then rejected by the US. The US is the one attacking borders and inciting wars. Putin would have been within his rights to launch nuclear missiles at the US since we have been sending missiles into Russia from Ukraine for the last 3 months. Putin has some intelligence. The US for the past two decades, minus a year or two here and there, has been acting like Tony Soprano on drugs.
