President Trump publicly confirmed on Wednesday that he and the CBS corporation are in settlement talks regarding the controversial “60 Minutes” interview of Kamala Harris and said he expects the Tiffany Network to pay him “a lot.”
During Mr. Trump’s first Cabinet meeting of his second term, he was asked about reports of settlement talks and if he wants to see his lawsuit against CBS News go to trial.

They will definitely settle. CBS is for sale, and nobody wants to buy a commodity bogged down in a costly lawsuit. They need to settle quickly, so Trump has the upper hand.
If they want to settle quickly, Trump is holding out for $100 million and a public apology.
CBS also hopes to avoid discovery, which would occur via a full fledged trial
Discovery might yield some internal memos, but the damage to CBS was done when the unedited tape was released.
