spent weeks pitching his wife, Casey DeSantis, as a candidate to replace him. That is just absurd. Is he nuts?

I see Ron’s back to his self-serving, selfish self.

Love what you’ve done for Florida, Ron, but nepotism and promoting a hereditary office is not a good look. Who’s next, your kids?

Whose coattails are longer.
Trump’s or Jeb 2.0’s.
Not for me to decide, it’s entirely up to Floridians.
But the nation will be interested.

"His comments did not seem to phase Donalds, who took the high road." I think the writer is meaning to say "faze" not "phase".

At present, DeSantis is not very good at reading the room.

DeSantis has been a great governor for Florida, and it’s too bad he’s term limited. But my impression is that he’s reached his peak as a politician. I think his next chapter, if he remains in government is as a cabinet secretary. He’s not a great campaigner, even though he has some big wins. His run for president was pretty awkward.
