@RepRalphNorman
Not a single government agency is occupying even HALF of their office space. Their checks come from WE THE PEOPLE..
Welcome back to work, folks.

The right attitude from a House Republican!
Try - welcome back to non-work, at a different location.
Congress critters had gotten into the habit of voting remotely, hadn’t they?
Is that all over with now?
The right attitude would be to minimize and consolidate the office space needed and save the taxpayer’s money. Instead they are filling up offices that obviously are not critical to the function of government. A$$ backwards thinking.
All of Congress, the Senate and their staffs have unlimited telework privileges. They are hypocrites.
The new department heads can actually see for themselves who thier employees really are
I have no problem with Congress critters voting remotely. They should spend more time in their districts talking to and facing their constituency. The Swamp is where they go to face the lobbyists and grifters who want to continue their siege on our tax dollars.
Trump Secy of State, Marco Rubio, has assumed control over the USAID agency following revelations from DOGE that USAID engaged in widespread waste and abuse of taxpayer dollars.
In just weeks, Musk’s DOGE initiative has uncovered billions in govt
waste and corruption, exposing rampant mismanagement of taxpayer dollars.
<><>$1.7 billion in unspent COVID relief funds,
<><>$3 billion lost to fraudulent unemployment claims,
<><>$800 million wasted on failed green energy projects.
<><>$200 million on diversity training for bureaucrats
<><> $4.5 billion in foreign aid to hostile regimes with little oversight
<><>$350 billion just to Ukraine
<><>$4.5 trillion in Treasury payments cannot be accounted for.
DOGE REPORT—The Treasury Access Symbol (TAS) is an identification code
linking a Treasury payment to a budget line item (a standard financial process).
In the corrupt Democrat Govt, the TAS field was optional for ~$4.7 Trillion in Treasury payments, left “blank,” making traceability almost impossible.
As of Saturday, Trump made this a required field, increasing taxpayers’ insight into where their money is actually going.
fr thread: MAPPING THE GROWTH OF GOVERNMENT: Fiscal watchdog,
Open The Books found spending outpaced staff growth and inflation at agency after agency
Fiscal watchdog, Open The Books found
<><>an astounding 75 govt agencies listed, that are effectively defunct or obsolete;
<><>that were subsumed by other entities, renamed, or that no longer even exist.
<><>Not only are these defunct agencies listed but their records are not updated,
<><>leaving the public unclear about the composition of their own government.
<><>Federal Register record keeping is supposed to be the definitive guide to govt policy,
<><>but it is shockingly bad.
It’s become clear that Americans need an exhaustive map of the federal
government and how much spending at each agency has grown over time.
The CON part of Congress means to come together tho... unless you want to call it the U.S. Egress.
Musk’s DOGE finds $4.7 trillion in Treasury payments on
untraceable budget line and no one knows where the money went

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency discovered $4.7 trillion in United States Treasury payments on an untraceable budget line. The agency announced Monday that the Treasury Access Symbol, which are used to describe the account the money is linked to, was missing on a number of payments the Treasury Department has made.’In the federal government, the TAS field was optional for about $4.7 trillion in payments and was often left blank, making traceability almost impossible,’ DOGE posted on X.
‘As of Saturday, this is now a required field, increasing insight into where money is actually going.’ The account went on to thank the US Treasury for its help in identifying the optional field. The Treasury Department, which fields trillions of dollars worth of government payments every year was one of the first departments DOGE staffers gained access to.
They have been granted entry to the department’s highly-sensitive payment systems, and Musk is now requesting access to a classified IRS system that contains the personal financial records of millions of Americans. The request, which is reportedly under review, would grant DOGE sweeping access to IRS ‘systems, property, and datasets’ through a memorandum of understanding.

When I was still working, I had to show up every day & actually work to qualify being paid for that day. And it took virtually every day to pay the bills too. Didn’t live very fancy & most likely was driving an old car as well, but I got through it. Why can’t any worker do that now?
I heard that fed workers who “worked from home” actuslly, didn’t do,any fed, work, but collected their checks from the government anyways WHILE working another job physically, ie going to work at the job sites.
No wonder the left, are, screaming like fools - they don’t want to lose their golden goose!
I can hear all the adversarial world recipients of my tax dollars bemoaning, Who do these American’s think they are? We have a right to that money, and we want it now.
