Essential Services are continuing. Food shipments are not stopped. I read today that they discovered that of all the USAID employees, it only took about 250 people to keep essential services running.

It will not be a PR nightmare if essential services to US citizens are maintained and food for poor countries is continued. Other than democRATS, nobody will cry over Ireland not getting US taxpayer money to pay for the refugees they and the EU accepted.
