Putting words in my mouth..
I don’t care what China does. We can’t afford to police the world like some messed up Dudley Dooright and besides we have no room to talk about any of that kind of behavior, having engaged in it ourselves.
If you think about it if the US taxed itself at the Australian rate there would not only be no deficit, but it would be paying down the debt at a ridiculous rate, @ $2 Trillion annually.
Everyone in East Asia would much rather US hegemony than China’s.
And there can only be one. If China goes for top dog then the US can’t stay out of it.
They do tax at higher than Australia once you add up all the little bites the government takes of the same dollar. At least they are honest with a high rate and don’t give the appearance of a lower tax rate while taking hidden bites adding up the even higher rates.
Oh? What compelling reason would there be to care what China does? Sure business people who take there stuff to china to make to squeeze out more money, well sure they are upset.
In 1944, the United States spent 43% of its gross domestic product (GDP) on national defense.
Currently the US is spending 3.5%
Going by past performance the US can afford such a war, if kept to conventional weapons.
I’m not even counting Japan, SK and Australia. This is a powerful alliance.
I’m quoting you.
“””if the US wants to fight China then fight China don’t drag other countries to do all the dying.””
We are not making war. To the contraqry, we are keeping the peace
Is that you George Orwell?
They will control the world right up to Hawaii and maybe Panama. Or the Mexican border. Certainly up to Greenland on the other side (if Trump manages that).
With the rest of the worlds vassalized GDPs “taxed” to support whatever policy they like. Mega-Big-Gulp navies and air forces.
Then they will squeeze you.
Yup. The US would rather a proxy war with China but China would rather make real war, than battle over an island. You sure had no problem with empire when it was the US in control of the hegemony. But as happens with everything on top, they fall victim to entropy. Followed by denial of it, with excess exuberance is demonstrating how it’s still strong as it always was.
lol
The data implies that the column I’m reading from includes the “little bites”.
“UNU-WIDER data is more complex, total taxes consists of taxes, social contributions, grants receivable, and other revenue. Sources are IMF Country Reports[4] and OECD Revenue Statistics.[5] Data are in current national currency.”
You are welcome to quibble with those people.
This will be a war for the big pot. Everything’s on the table. Total global domination. There will be a committee of Chinese officials providing advice and oversight over every Fed agency.
Post after post, after post, of anti-America, procommunist postings, what country are you from that makes you support Communist China and want dead Americans to replace foreign dead if those nations oppose the communists?
how about what is applied to you cable bill, phone bill. the tax they charge on any interest you make, the gas in your car, the trip to fix your car. etc ad infinitum
Its not a battle over an island, but a battle over who blinks first. Then one side loses all its alliances, and the other makes new special deals with a hundred countries.
So to be pro America you must want to control everyone on the planet and make war with them when they don’t conform?
actually it’s a battle of a region. China wants to divide the world according to occidental/oriental
Your posts are just ramblings and non-responsive.
Presumably all of that. Its all included and categorized in national accounts, shows up in total revenues.
The one thing that won’t show up there is unfunded mandates (forcing companies/employers to pay for things by regulation, like say wheelchair ramps). Nobody can easily audit that.
