1. Ruthless business vs Love of humanity
George Soros: “I am basically there to make money. I cannot and do not look at the social consequences of what I do.”
Elon Musk: “I love humanity. I think we should fight for a good future for humanity.”
Also Elon Musk: “If you say philanthropy is love of humanity, [my companies] are philanthropy.”
2. Money as an end vs Money as a mean
George Soros: “I am basically there to make money.”
Elon Musk: “The thing we call money is just an information system for labor allocation. What actually matters is making goods and providing services.”
3. Fiddling with regulations vs Playing fair & improving the rules
George Soros operates his hedge funds offshore. Journalist: “So in some ways it's to escape regulation?” George Soros: “Yeah, that's right.”
Elon on his part voluntarily sold Tesla stock in 2021, although he didn't have to in order to pay (a record amount) of income tax. Elon refuses to use tax loopholes. He also got involved in a presidential campaign to improve regulations for all citizens instead of trying to avoid bad regulation.
4. Cynicism vs Morality
George Soros on helping Nazis to take away Jewish property: “If I weren't there, of course I [wouldn't be] doing it, but somebody else would be taking it away anyhow. In other words, whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator.”
And George Soros on business: “I don't feel guilty because I'm engaged in an amoral activity which is not meant to have anything to do with guilt.”
Elon Musk: “I want to be useful. I want to be able to look back and say that my actions had a good effect on the world.”
Also Elon Musk: “I have a huge respect for anyone who puts in an honest day's work, contributing to society. That's what matters.”
All of George Soros' quotes can be found in the video below.
One is PURE EVIL and the other one isn’t.
I get so tired of the Liberals saying rich people should give their money to the poor. Really? Why? How many of you were hired by a poor person? The top 10% of “rich” people (income greater than $450,000/yr) pay 72% of all taxes collected by the IRS. The bottom 50% (less that $46,000/yr) pay less than 3% and many pay nothing.
We denigrate and demonize the rich and glorify the poor. Again, why? It is the rich who invest in the economy and generate economic growth which increases employment opportunities. While Bezos was growing Amazon from a small book-selling company into what it is today, he didn’t live the lavish lifestyle he could have. Instead, he plowed the profits back into the company so it could grow. So, until each of you Liberals provide food, clothing, and shelter for over 250,000 people, sit down and STFU.
Is it too much to hope for that she can also carve out a team to thoroughly investigate Soros?
The future looks promising to do the right thing.
Soros is not only a Nazi collaborator, he is a Jewish Nazi collaborator.
No; he’s an atheist Nazi collaborator.
Soros, a pessimist, makes his money in negative ways, "puts", betting a currency or stock will go down.
He does his best to destroy companies, countries and currencies to make this happen.
Musk, an optimist does his best to build companies and now countries.
They both want to destroy American workers with H-1B visas, though.
