You will now get Jeffries. Have fun.
MTG has been one of the most vocal opponents of Johnson for the better part of a year. She filed a motion to vacate last year.

This is exactly the minset that got us here
“Oh we cannot win we have to give the Dems everything they want”. Been hearing this same nonsense for 2 decades now
NO, in politics, you fight for your agenda, you don’t pre-emptively surrender. If you lose, then you try the next option and the next and the next
Democrats do this all the time. It is only the GOP-E that preemptively surrenders to the Dems and then blame their lack of leadership for the loss
You say that and then you say
Oh we don’t have the votes, Johnson’s had to give the Democrats everything to get something done
Giving everything and getting nothing is not “incrementalism” it is surrender
“To some on Free Republic, Mike Johnson is too liberal, and too willing to make nice with Democrats, and willing to compromise on some issues.”
And they would not know a lot on house politics or the politician in there. To get work done that is in the direction of what Trump wants, the house has to utilize some liberals to get votes for issues. Names like Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Mike Lawler, Don Bacon, Barry Moore, Brandon Williams and Rich McCormick are all liberal voting republicans.
Others like Brian Fitzpatrick, John Duarte, Young Kim, Mike Garcia, Mike Carey, Doug Lamborn, John James, Derrick Van Orden, Ken Calvert, Anthony D’Esposito are republicans that vote roughly 7 out of 10 times republican.
And then you have the swing republicans that vote as much as 8 of 10 votes republican that include Dave Schweikert, Scott Perry, Zackary Nunn, Bob Wittman, Nick LaLota, Brian Steil, and Juan Ciscomani that are loose cannons and don’t really supply any trusted voting to the republican party with any consistancy.
So while you are looking at only a 5 vote difference of registered republicans versus democrats, the problem is not with Johnson. He has to secure republican issues and he is fighting an up hill battle with his own party. So to get those issues secured, he is going to have to compromise. And that’s how politics is played.

Yep when Johnson was selling out, she opposed him. Totally different situation now when they have President Trump and a GOP Senate to work with
Trump wants him.
Hate all you want but never lie to yourself that you are only motivated by ego and spite, not principals.

It isn’t just the Demcratic party which was able to hold together. They have been able to hold together, because the old Media and the intelligence agencies worked with them to discipline anyone who broke ranks.
The GOP had the old Media and the intelligence agencies working to divide them and get them to break ranks.
Now, the media is on a more even footing and the intelligence agencies are a bit afraid of Trump.
Remember Senator Schumer’s off mike remark? To the effect of: Don’t go against the intelligence agencies. They have six ways to Sunday to go after you.
The Dems know how to win. How many Johnnies voted for Walz?? A ton.....
Excuse me? By giving us Jeffries as Speaker? STHU and get us to the next step. Hold Johnson's feet to the fire while he is Speaker, not as a way to make Jeffries Speaker.
Ok we want the same goals. Let try this a different way
What is the advantage for President Trump in having this dogfight going on in the GOP House?
Johnson is an extreme conservative. Check out his track record.
The MIC controls pursestrings in DC and if the party in control, which hasn’t been republicans, answsers to them. The GOP is horribly divided on Ukraine which was a key factor in budgets submitted by the House.
Lol it has nothing at all to do with “Conservative principals”

Did you know this?
Massie somehow convinced himself to vote for McCarthy 15 times, so this principled purist routine of his is just an act.

Nobody hates like you Johnnie. Charlie Kirk(The guy that was critical in Trump winning the election) just said that 99% of the emails he is getting from people are against Johnson. But that he understands the tough position that Trump is in. Putting Johnson in is not doing a good thing. It is being forced to do a bad thing because we have too many rinos’s and traitors in the republican party to get the right thing done. And Mind numbed Robots tick me off even when they are are conservatives. Call out the good and the bad side of things and don’t be a cultist.
When MTG is a voice of reason.
Do you mean when Johnson was working with a razor thin House majority, a Democrat Senate, and Democrat White House? Is that what "selling out" means to you? I'm really sorry you didn't get 100% of the Republican policies you wanted when the American people voted for the Democratic party to have control of the majority of the govt.
This is exactly the Gop-E mindset that got us here
Oh we must give the Democrats everything because we must DO something.
No, the GOP can stop clinging to this pre-emptive surrender dogma and take a page from the Democrat play book and fight. If they lose a vote, go to option 2 and 3 and 4 and 5. What has created this mess is this DC GOP preemptive surrender mindset.
Funny how that logic is NEVER applied to the Dems. The only people that are suppose to sacrifice all their political agenda items in DC, strangely enough, are always the GOP in control of the US House.
Yep. That's the truth.
If he queers the works, it's going to be primary time for Massie. There's work to do now. We don't need his childish grandstanding before we've turned a single shovelful of earth.
Your use of hyperbole tells me you do not want to have an honest debate. You either want 100% of your own personal desires made into law, or you want to bitch and complain. Silly and childish behavior.
