Regarding Catholics, the priest at our Latin-mass church has spoken a few times about FBI surveillance of Tridentine Mass Catholics. It’s also an excellent and immediately tangible segue into state vs. private belief, the fallen world vs. the rule of God
He’s joked in sermons that any FBI members sitting in the pews should just come to him afterwards and he’d be happy to tell them what’s going on the Parish....

I'm also hearing good things from my majority black (read: grew up voting Dim) Protestant church. Usually it's in the financial small group I lead that I'm hearing that they realized that they can't count on the govt to be the see-all do-all for their future and it's up to them. I never use my position to say who to vote for, but there's always the part where we do some tax planning. So the discussion involves tax-deferred IRA's and 401K's vs Roth IRA's and Roth 401K's and what they'd want their investments to be in when the Trump Tax Cuts expire.
