This is still a free country or so I’ve been lead to believe and as much as I hate what they are doing and saying it’s their right to do so and if I believe in this country i have to defend their rights to protest.

They have a right to peacefully protest (usually with a permit). They do not have a right to invade your space (like a Church service), block public roadways, or destroy property.

Correct. Their right of free speech does not imply I have a duty to listen. I have the right to ignore them.
