I've noticed something about these drones. I operate a very small optical observatory and use it to obtain digital images of deep space objects like galaxies and nebula. I must say, over the years I've seen a lot of strange objects/sources of light I could not explain and I consider myself an experienced knowledgeable observer.

When I see video of these alleged, "Drones" being videoed and then the video depicts these drones disappearing from view, to me it looks just like satellites as they enter the earth's shadow causing them to disappear. Satellites can only be seen when they are illuminated by sunlight reflecting off of these satellites or spacecraft such as ISS. Once they enter the earths shadow, they appear to completely disappear over a second or so, quickly fading from view until they disappear.

This is the same thing that appears to be happening to these alleged drones that seemingly disappear from view. To me it's looks like the same thing is happening. They almost look like a projection that disappears when it enters the earth shadow.

Which brings up the possibility they’re being projected from above.

Then again, if they were being projected from above, ie from a satellite, the earths shadow would not interfere with the light being emitted or reflected.

Unfortunately reports from the press and the public conflate all different kinds of things that people see.
